Why Do You Love Fall?

Good Morning Everyone!

Following up on yesterday’s music post to get you in the fall mood, today’s post is also simple.

The question is, why do you love fall time?

For me personally, there’s something about the smell of the Earth this time of year. I’m a pluviophile (a lover of rain), so the special fall scent of the Earth comes out even more when it rains.

And that scent just makes me feel good about life. It’s one of those times where you can simply inhale and relax.

I also love how the trees change color and shed their leaves.

It’s just so beautiful, don’t you think?

I’m not big on heat (I literally hide from the sun during the summer), so I really like when it starts getting a little colder. It’s perfect for walking around my neighborhood and going on walking trails, which is also some great cardio. I also love getting to wear layers. Scarves, hats, jackets, I love it all!

Well peeps, that’s why fall is my favorite season of the year.

How about you? Why do you love the fall? Feel free to share in the comments, I’d love to start a dialogue!

Have a great day everyone!

    • Ooo yeah, Christmas and the wintertime is a close second for me on seasons. So long as I don’t have to drive in icy conditions I’m alright.

Oh, there was this magical day at the beginning of this year where I got to read in my heated living room all day with a lot of snow falling down outside. It was one of the best days I’ve ever had honestly.

  1. I learned a new word: pluviophile. Lemme jus type it again to make sure I got it: pluviophile. Got it.

I love fall because I’m a runner/jogger. There have been a couple of times when I’ve gotten so hot in the summer that I got sick (heat exhaustion). That’s never happened in the cooler days of autumn.

    • Yay for new words! I only figured it out because I have a fellow rain lover who told me the right terminology for it.

Gotta love fall, even though it’s not quite here yet in Kansas city.
