Overall Impression
This book has been on my TBR for some time, and ironically I ended up watching the movie first when my roomie and I were bored one night. I’d never known this was a movie, so I was desperate to give it a chance. I was not disappointed!
This film is set in a dystopian world where the dead have risen. At a government facility, humans use special zombie-human children with intelligence to try to cure the disease. But when the zombies from the outside break into the facility, everyone scatters, desperate for survival.
This was a fun movie! All of the human characters I sympathized with, and I especially enjoyed the main character and the other zombie-human children. They were not your average zombie and really switched the genre up a bit. The action was almost nonstop, and even in the pauses there were constant interesting developments.
Ultimately a great watch, and after watching I still intend on reading the book. Can’t wait to compare the two!
Final Score
7.5/10

I liked the book but haven’t seen the movie. I have to see it now!
Oh nice! Glad to give you a movie to watch!
7.5, a pretty good score. I finally watched Horns. I didn’t realize there was so much humor in the movie. That was a pleasant surprise.
Yeah, this one was good.
Wow, that’s ironic because I just watched Horns last week also. I agree with you completely!
It sounds great. I was put off by the trailers, but I might watch it now.
I just saw the title and freaked because I knew it was a book.
