My Review:
Overall Impression
I always loved fashion shows. What Not to Wear, Project Runway, I’m all in. (Yes, my references may be dated, but get over it lol) So when I saw that one of the Fab 5 was involved in a fashion show that looked like Project Runway, I started watching immediately.
In a nutshell, it’s a competition with similar rules to Project Runway. The best fashion designer will win a huge cash prize for their own line after going through a number of challenges. Simple and sweet.
I loved all of the challenges. While simple, it was entertaining to see where all these designers went with a simple theme like denim or underwear. The designers were all very interesting too with their own quirks and methods of handling garment production. I grew attached to a select few of them, and even though my favorite didn’t win, I really had fun with this series.
Ultimately, I’m hoping for future seasons of this show. It was fabulous, simple, and entertaining for anyone who likes Project Runway or fashion. Worth a watch!
