Writing Update – The Second Draft of The Ruins is Complete!

Hello, hello blogisphere!

I hope your cold January is going well. I have an update that I think you may be very excited about. Yesterday I finished the second draft of The Ruins! Here are my current stats for the work itself:

Title: The Ruins
Genre: Horror/Fantasy (Adult) with an LGBT main character
Current Length: 60,000 words, or just under 250 pages.
Blurb (Rough Draft): Set in South America and Dallas, TX, this novel centers on the adventure of a gay paranormal travel vlogger and his boyfriend. They unwittingly uncover a great evil that goes back centuries and threatens their lives and those around them.

If you’d like to hear me gab all about it and my steps forward, check out the quick video I made.

The alpha/beta read of this work will take place at the beginning of February, so if you are on my list, but haven’t responded yet, please keep me posted.

It’s also worth mentioning that I’m still growing my little ARC review team. If you’d like to be a part of that, simply go here and fill out the form, and I’ll be in touch if I think you’re a good candidate!

Thanks so much to everyone who has shown me support here and on social media. Your rooting for me hasn’t gone unnoticed, and I appreciate it! More developments to come soon!
