The Flame & Fantasy Book Market Was a Huge Success!

Hi Readers!

I don’t always get a chance to talk about the book events I do, but I had such a great time at the Flame & Fantasy Book Market I was a vendor at yesterday and I couldn’t help but gush a little.

This book market event was a prelude to the Flame & Fantasy Ball, which is more of a fantasy genre kind of thing. I was a little nervous about selling my books since my books don’t always fall into that category, but decided to give it a go and I’m so glad I did!

I met so many eager readers and fellow authors, some of which I already know and some that I hadn’t gotten the chance to meet in person yet. Here’s just a few photos from the event.

What was really inspiring was the fact that numerous readers had come up to me explaining they had looked me up, knew who I was, or had read some of my works. There was even a group of people that had all read The BEK Curse and loved how creepy it was. You can only imagine my disbelief. Me? Wow!

It appears that all of the work I’ve been doing in my community of Kansas City may be paying off, and for that I can’t be more grateful. I’m refreshed and ready to write some more!

Until next time, bookworms!

    • Yeah, it was a lot more foot traffic than I expected, so I was really happy that the organizer followed through on that. So many times organizers can talk of big game and not deliver, but it was packed with this one!

  1. Congratulations on an amazing event! Feeling very jealous in the best way possible ; )

    • Aww, thanks! I’ve got some things in the works that will help me make just a little bit more at future events. Stuff like spooky pins and my friend from Twitch is letting me resell her awesome bookmarks, stuff like that.
