Good Morning Everyone,

Weekly Progress Update time! This week was crazy for me.

On the personal side of things, I moved last Saturday, and it was by far the wettest move I’ve ever had. It’s been storming pretty much the entire time in Kansas City during and since the move, so every trip back and forth has been difficult.

While I’m not completely happy with my move, I’m trying to see the positive side of things, and I’ll be credit card free by the end of the summer so long as I hunker down and attack that balance. At this point, I honestly just want my freedom back, you know? After that, I’ll have a lot more wiggle room with my personal spending and can breathe a little easier.

On the writing side, things have been a little slow moving due to my move. I continued working on the sequel to my debut novella Reaper, and I’m about 12k words in, just about 50 pages. I’m at a fun point where things are starting to pick up and get interesting. I’m still in the first third of my book, and there’s a lot of plotting I have to do for the rest of it, but I’m super happy with my progress so far.

Lastly, the reading side of things. With my life being more chaotic than usual, I’ve been reading a tad bit more, as I tend to escape reality when things get tough. I finished Dreadnought and Animorphs #7 this week and am currently reading The Legend of the Exiles, so keep an eye peeled for my review this coming week!
