WWW Wednesday
Good Morning Page Turners!
Are you ready to share about all things books today? I sure am!
Every Wednesday I participate in this meme called WWW Wednesday if you’re not familiar.
This meme is a challenge where you simply share what you’re reading, what you’ve recently finished, and what you hope to read in the near future.
The meme is currently handled by Taking On A World of Words, and anybody can participate.
With my escapism habits COMPLETELY triggered lately, I’m super happy to talk about books, or basically anything but reality.
All you have to do to participate is simply read the 3 W questions below and answer them:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

Tad bounces around in time and watches mankind grow and change. He loves humanity and helping when he can. However, his job isn’t conducive to helping people—he’s an Angel of Death.
Doug is a fun-loving drama queen. He’s an amazing drag queen and hairstylist with big dreams, but despite his witty exterior, he has a dark history and is prone to self-destruction.
When Tad pushes the boundaries of his duties too far, his wings are stripped away from him, and he is sent to New York City to live as a human. Lost and alone he ends up meeting Doug, and they start a friendship that shapes them both and may last a lifetime. But nothing is simple when you’re dealing with a former Angel of Death and a Drag Queen. Could these two cause the fabric of our world to collapse or will they manage to keep the future as it should?
Opinion so far:
It’s been about a day and I’m about a third in. So far it’s pretty good!
M.D. Neu is a great writer, and I always like how I can blaze through his works. I really like the characters.
If there’s one thing to gripe about, it would be that I was hoping for more of a fantasy or sci-fi edge, but only being a third of the way in anything can still happen … and did once I read a few pages more last night lol. So just kidding, haha!
I will probably finish this on Friday or so, so keep your eyes peeled for my review!

Tobias has pretty much gotten used to his life. He’s a red-tailed hawk with the mind of a kid. It was weird when he first got trapped in morph. But now it’s almost okay. After all, how many kids actually get the chance to fly?
Now Tobias is about to make a very special choice. A choice that the other Animorphs and Ax know nothing about. And it could mean the difference between being a hawk…and being human…
My Opinion:
I absolutely loved this installment of the Animorphs!
Not only did we get a nice, well-balanced plot this time around, but there were extra juicy bits that were extremely gratifying. Well well WELL worth the read!

Opinion so far:
Mmm, this one’s a toughie. Lately I’ve been a little indecisive on what to read. It’s not that I’m running out of things to read. Hah! Far from it. I simply am going through a phase where I’m reading so much I want it all and it’s hard to choose when everything looks so good!
So the one thing I know is that I’m going to keep up with my Animorphs reads. That’s definite if I’m ever going to finish this series.
After that, I’ll probably sneak in a short story, though I’m way less picky about those than my novel reads, so who knows what I’ll pick. *shrugs*
Also, I finally bought my long time friend’s book Heaven Sent about a month ago. He’s next on my friends list of to-reads. Based on the summary, it should be right up my alley!
That’s a Wrap!
Okay folks, that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.

Heaven Sent looks intriguing. I may have to add that to my never-ending TBR list.
Yes! My friend Montre wrote it and I love the concept. I haven’t started it yet, but I think I’ll make it my next read. He’s super talented from the snippits I’ve read.
