WWW Wednesday
Happy Hump Day Everyone!
Are you excited about Thanksgiving? It’s sooo close!
I’m super thrilled to spend Thursday with my mom, even though I have a feeling it’ll just be me, her, and her boyfriend. Gotta love some turkey time, right?
Anywho, every Wednesday I participate in a meme called WWW Wednesday.
This meme is a challenge where you simply share what you’re reading, what you’ve recently finished, and what you hope to read in the near future.
The meme is currently handled by Taking On A World of Words, and anybody can participate.
Simply read the 3 W questions below and answer them should you want to:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

As the descendant of a fallen half-angel and a human, young Andrew is possessed of supernatural powers that are dangerously beyond his understanding. Then an inevitable dark force rises up to threaten his family…and his soul. As he is forced to confront tragedy and heartache, Andrew, with the help of his long-lost father and twin brother, embarks on a journey of spiritual discovery that will awaken him to the power of God and the glory of using his talents for good instead of evil.
Opinion so far:
Honestly I just started this yesterday and I’m not quite a quarter through, but I am definitely loving this story so far!
It’s got a nice, slow build that is well-paced and extremely interesting. The writing is in a great YA style (if you ask me, at least), and I am really excited to see where this story goes.
PS: This book’s review will go along with an author interview, how fortunate am I? Keep your eyes peeled!

There’s a new rumor in town. Someone has discovered an item that proves life on other planets exists. And they’ve been hiding it on a base called Zone 91. The Most Secret Place On Earth.
Cassie, the other Animorphs, and Ax already know about life on other planets. Too well. They also realize the Yeerks will try to access Zone 91 to find out if what’s there will threaten their mission. So the Animorphs decide to pay Zone 91 and the Yeerks a little visit. But what they discover is not at all what they expect.
My Opinion:
This was a decent continuation of the Animorphs series, but it ended up falling flat if you ask me. A little displeased, but still happy to continue my journey!

Opinion so far:
Okay, so this month has been NUTS for books and me. I feel like I’ve made such a lot of progress in a very short time (*cough cough* ESCAPISM). I’m even catching up to the physical books on my shelf!
Don’t get too excited, I still have a long way to go and there are still some in my closet and other bookshelves that are most likely not ever going to be read (might as well sign them up for a Half Price Books trip lol).
Anyways, I thought I’d start with Pet Sematary next since I’ve been reading a lot of indie stuff lately. Tons of people love this book, so who knows what’ll happen?
The next short story I’d like to try out is Locked Away by Ashley Greathouse. We interact on Facebook quite a lot (she is a genious with funny and spooky posts I swear!), and I’m just dying to test out some of her writing! This will be paired with an author interview folks!
And of course, what would my TBR look like without a little bit of Animorphs? All I’m gonna say is, don’t disappoint me like you did with #14! *shakes fist*
That’s a Wrap!
Okay folks, that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.
What does your reading pile look like? Have you read any of the books on my list? Do you have any opinions or feedback on the books I chose? Feel free to share in the comments, and don’t forget to subscribe or follow my bookish journeys!

I just finished Black Heart Boys’ Choir by Curtis Lawson. It was AWESOME, especially if you like music. Right now I’m reading Inside by D.M. Siciliano. I’m not very far along, but so far it’s good.:-)
Oh nice, glad you’re having fun with your reads! I haven’t heard of either of those so I’ll have to take a look!
And Happy Thanksgiving!
Yes, happy thanksgiving to you too!
