WWW Wednesday
Happy Hump Day Book Nerds!
I hope your week is going well so far. Mine’s pretty hectic, but I’ve managed to maintain control so far, and I’m proud of myself for that. Just two more days and it’s sweet, sweet weekend time!
Before I get you too riled up, let’s get into this week’s WWW Wednesday post.
WWW Wednesday is a meme challenge where you simply share what you’re reading, what you’ve recently finished, and what you hope to read in the near future.
The meme is currently handled by Taking On A World of Words, and anybody can participate.
Simply read the 3 W questions below and answer them should you want to:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

Almost nothing could be as bad as finding out your mother is Visser One. The most powerful of all Vissers. The leader of the Yeerk invasion of Earth. But it happened to Marco. And even though he’s been handling it pretty well, he knew there’d come a time when he’d have to face her again. Knowing that the Yeerk in her brain had taken his mother away.
So when Marco, the other Animorphs, and Ax discover that Visser One is overseeing a secret underwater project, they know they have to check it out. But Marco’s not sure if this is a battle he’ll be able to fight….
Opinion so far:
All right, so I’m guilty. I haven’t even started this book yet, but it is definitely next on my list.
After finishing Heaven Sent and Locked Away within 24 hours, I have a lot of blog catchup to do (*twitches uncontrollably* Must… maintain… balance!), but like all other Animorphs books this’ll be a very quick read.
Recently Finished:
Blurb:
In a world where witchcraft is thought of as a trend or just part of fantasy a 30 year old woman ventures out to change her destiny and bring the truth of magic out from the darkness.
My Opinion:
Guilty again! I finished this yesterday afternoon, but with the backlog of blogging to do, I’m a bit behind. You’ll see my author interview with Ashley Greathouse and this short story’s review tomorrow, maybe even sooner!
Next on my TBR:
Opinion so far:
Since I’m going to cool things down with another Animorphs novel next, after that I’ll be reading Sean K. Vlk’s debut novel, The State. So excited!
I’ll definitely sneak in a short story after The State, though I’m not sure which one yet. I have a LOT of options, so I’ll just play that by ear.
After that, I’ll stop procrastinating and actually read King’s Pet Sematary. I swear this thing has been on my WWW Wednesday probably three times now. Enough is enough, this book’s days are numbered!
That’s a Wrap!
Okay folks, that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.

I am reading Ration by Cody Luff. It’s dark, dystopian, and very poetic. So far I’m loving it, but I’m a sucker for lyrical prose even if it’s dark, scary, or sad.
I just checked this out on Goodreads and added to my TBR. Sounds amazing! Thanks for sharing that with me. 🙂
I love posts like this. Great for finding new authors. I’ve just finished The Odyssey of the Dragolitha by Caleb Wright, currently reading Big Smoke by RF Blackstone and I’m reading Over a Gods Dead Body by Joel Spriggs next.
Totally! I actually haven’t heard of the ones you mentioned, so I’ll have to check em out
