What Do You Want for Christmas?
Hello Christmas Carolers and Santa’s Helpers,
I know I’ve said it before, but it really is crazy that it’s already December. This year has flown by!
With this time of year, we get to enjoy more time around family and friends and be grateful for what we have, but there’s always that age-old question. What do you want for Christmas?
And that’s simply what I’m asking today.
When I ask this question, I don’t necessarily mean physical things (no shame if you do have a heavy Christmas wish list!). You could simply want more time with your family, or to have a get together with close friends.
OR you could really need that trip to the day spa you’ve been putting off all year.
So what do you want for Christmas?
For me personally, what I would like is some additional time away from work for the holidays so I can connect more with friends. I’ve been running into some acquaintances lately that have stressed that they want to get to know me better, and I’m big on nurturing relationships, so I’m hoping to spend some time with friends old and new.
I also am looking forward to seeing my family again, especially my little brother, who is currently stationed overseas (he didn’t make it to Thanksgiving! 🙁 )
On the physical spectrum, I don’t want for very much. If I want something, I tend to find a way to get it myself. So with that in mind, the one thing I’ve been wanting is new copies of books that I rated 5-star this year. It’s a great way to support the authors I love, and it also fills up my physical bookshelves at home with great reads.
I think I may make this a forever tradition, or I’ll simply start buying books that I rate 5 stars.
Either way, I’m very much looking forward to this Christmas and hope you are too! Have a great day everyone!
That’s a Wrap!
All right, so that wraps up this blog post. How about you? What do you want for Christmas? Feel free to comment, I’d love to hear all about it!

I want a date night with my sweetie, like pizza and a movie.:-)
Oh, that’s perfect! On that train of thought, I’d like a nice romantic date with someone who isn’t a human dumpster fire. Haha!
I think buying print books of 5 star reviews is an excellent idea. I know there are some books I want to get the physical copy for my library. What I really want for Christmas this year is to enjoy it and not get caught up in all the drama and stress from my family.
Thanks! I got a holiday bonus from the company I work for, so some of the extra money went towards buying most of those 5 star books. Can’t wait to lovingly place them on my bookshelves.
Oh, I hear you there! Family can definitely be a stress inducer, so I’ll cross my fingers for you and me both!
Nice! Thanks. I will too.
I would like for me and my husband to become financially stable. We’ve been struggling the past few years. As for physical things there are a couple books I would really like to get for Christmas like Queen of Nothing by Holly Black and The Bromance Book Club by Lyssa Kay Adams.
I hear you there, I really do. Sending positive energy your way!
Totally, books are the best gifts ever!
Thank you!! And yes they are.
Actually, I’m really feeling the holiday spirit. Would you be opposed to me giving you a kindle version of one of those books?
No I wouldn’t be opposed to that at all but you don’t have to do that.
I know, but i should do something kind and I can definitely afford it. 🙂
Thank you so much that is so kind of you!! 😊
Ah, think nothing of it. I can spare a little, so why not give someone something they truly want? *hugs*
I truly appreciate it!! 💕
