WWW Wednesday
Happy Hump Day Folks!
I hope your week is everything that you hoped it would be. Honestly, for me it’s been a little disappointing, but I’m not gonna join the meh train today. Instead, I’m going to embrace all the great stuff ahead of me, which means books of course!
So here’s the lowdown in case your new to this kind of post. Every Wednesday I participate in a meme called WWW Wednesday.
This meme is a challenge where you simply share what you’re reading, what you’ve recently finished, and what you hope to read in the near future.
The meme is currently handled by Taking On A World of Words, and anybody can participate.
Simply read the 3 W questions below and answer them should you want to:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

We could blame everything that happened on Marco. He was the one who heard about the downed submarine. He was the one who thought we should check it out. And everyone knows that if Marco’s up to a challenge, I’m definitely there.
Everything was going fine. Until the explosion. An explosion that blows us millions of years back in time. Back to the age of dinosaurs. Now Tobias, Cassie, Marco, Ax, Jake and I are fighting for our lives with every step we take. But that’s not our biggest problem. Our biggest problem is we have no idea how to get back to our own time …
Opinion so far:
I literally just started this last night, only to fall asleep after a very stressful day (catnaps are the future, look it up, haha!), so I haven’t really formed any kind of opinion just yet. I definitely plan on blazing through this one pretty fast, and I actually recall reading this as a kid, so I’m super pumped. Keep your eyes peeled!

What’s a horseman of the Apocalypse to do when the Earth has been picked bare, scoured clean, and burned black? Perhaps a spot of…gardening?
My Opinion:
I had high hopes for this short story going in, but ultimately I just didn’t enjoy it as much as I’d hoped. Lightning doesn’t always strike twice, so I’m not sweating it. But who knows, you may really like this freebie from Tor.

Opinion so far:
After I finish up my Animorphs read, I’m super stoked to start the second book in The Great Devil War series (hosted by R&R Book Tours). I loved the first book, so I have high hopes for this one!
Following that, I’ll finally get my mitts on the second book in Montre Bible’s Heaven Sent series. It feels like forever since I read the first one, but I’m definitely excited!
I didn’t include a third photo, but I plan on reading a short story after Heaven Bound. I’ve been a little disappointed with the short stories read lately, so I’m going to play the next one by ear. Wish me luck!
That’s a Wrap!
Okay folks, that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.

I’m currently reading Naked in Death by J.D. Robb which I will be finishing today. After that I plan to start The Drawing of the Three by Stephen King and once I finish that one I will be starting The Die of Death by Kenneth B. Andersen.
Oh yay, those all sound like fun, though I’m not familiar with J.D. Robb. You enjoying that one?
This is the first time I am reading anything by this author. J.D. Robb is actually Nora Roberts . I started it yesterday and read over half of it. I have a little less than 100 pages left. Yes I really am enjoying it so far.
Good to hear. I’ll have to check it out. 🙂
I will say it’s kind of romance heavy so if you decide to read it be aware of that. I personally love my romance so it doesn’t bother me at all.
Awww sad face. I’m not very keen on romance.
Yeah I didn’t think so so I wanted to let you know. It intertwined with the murder investigation but it’s still pretty prominent.
Yeah, I think I may pass on that one then, but thanks for the recommendation!
I totally understand!! You’re welcome!!
Also I’m sorry I haven’t gotten my answers to your questions back to you I’ve had a lot of stuff on my mind lately and I kind of forgot about it but I will try to get it to you ASAP.
Oh no worries! Take your time, seriously.
I’m reading The House on Cold Hill by Peter James. I may have been reading it last WWW day, and it’s not that long of a book, but it’s got so many eerie, little, ghostly details I don’t want to miss, so I’m giving it a slow, careful read!
Oh nice! Something about the blurb for that makes me think I’ve seen it somewhere. Hmm…. I love your taste in books!
