WWW Wednesday
Happy Wednesday everyone!
Can you believe we’re already halfway through the week? Craziness, I swear!
With last Friday and Monday off, this week totally feels off-balance, but I’m glad that it’s almost the weekend again. More rest and relaxation! Oh yeah, and I have a date on Friday *wink wink*
All right, so before I start blabbing too much, let’s get back to the point of this post. Every Wednesday I participate in a meme called WWW Wednesday.
This meme is a challenge where you simply share what you’re reading, what you’ve recently finished, and what you hope to read in the near future.
The meme is currently handled by Taking On A World of Words, and anybody can participate.
Simply read the 3 W questions below and answer them should you want to:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

Philip’s adventures as the Devil’s apprentice have changed him—in a good way. Although he misses his friends in Hell, he has made new friends in life.
But when the future of the underworld is threatened once again, Philip’s help is needed. Death’s Die has been stolen and immortality is spreading across the globe.
Philip throws himself into the search—and discovers a horrible truth about his own life along the way.
The Die of Death is volume 2 in The Great Devil War-series and winner of the ORLA-Award.
Opinion so far:
I’m about halfway through this, and to be bluntly honest, it hasn’t been the most seamless journey. There have been bits of this book that I believe could’ve been executed a little better, but that doesn’t mean I’m not enjoying this. Far from it, actually!
Keep your eyes peeled for my review on the 27th!

We could blame everything that happened on Marco. He was the one who heard about the downed submarine. He was the one who thought we should check it out. And everyone knows that if Marco’s up to a challenge, I’m definitely there.
Everything was going fine. Until the explosion. An explosion that blows us millions of years back in time. Back to the age of dinosaurs. Now Tobias, Cassie, Marco, Ax, Jake and I are fighting for our lives with every step we take. But that’s not our biggest problem. Our biggest problem is we have no idea how to get back to our own time …
My Opinion:
This book was amazing! Time travel, animal-morphing, dinosaurs. It can’t get much better than this, and I devoured this book, nom nom nom! This installment definitely brought a sense of wonder with it, and I’m glad I re-read this one. Who knows, maybe I’ll do it again?

Opinion so far:
All right, so first and foremost I will be involved in a beta read for my friend Randall Krzak once I’m done with the current book I’m reading. This basically means that my typical reading time will be split between the beta and whatever’s next on my list, so don’t expect me to blaze too quickly through things.
My next planned read is Brokeback Mountain. I was looking to broaden my horizons with something I wouldn’t usually read, and I settled on this one. Sometimes you just need a break from scifi and fantasy, and this one is highly rated and recommended, so why not?
After that I’ll be reading the full set of Watchmen graphic novels that my friend Stacy let me borrow a couple months ago. I’ve been terrible at getting myself to sit down and read it, hence why I’m putting it on my TBR. That seems to be the only way it’s going to get done. Superhero greatness, here we come!
Lastly, I’ll be continuing my Animorphs journey with #19. After the greatness of 18.5, I have high hopes for this one!
That’s a Wrap!
Okay folks, that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.
What does your reading pile look like? Have you read any of the books on my list? Do you have any opinions or feedback on the books I chose? Feel free to share in the comments, and don’t forget to subscribe or follow my bookish journeys!
Happy Reading Everyone!

I have to admit, I haven’t read a graphic novel in AGES, like years. Enjoy the Watchmen series! I’m reading an anthology called Miscreations. As anthologies go, there are some stories/styles of writing I love and some I just go “eh.” So far, though, it’s pretty good.
Yeah, me either. Who knows, maybe I’ll love it!
Oh wow, that’s really interesting. What’s the general theme?
I finished reading The Die of Death last night. Overall I really enjoyed it but had some issues with it.
I’m over halfway through and am also having some issues with it. Once I get done with it we should totally chat!
Absolutely!
