WWW Wednesday
Good Morning Bookworms and Bibliophiles!
How’s it going?
This guy is tired! I went in at 2am to work this morning to avoid getting into terrible traffic on the way home. I made it home okay, but I’m going off of four hours of sleep. Man, I do not miss my 20’s when I used to do that all the time!
So, before I zonk out, let’s get into this post, yeah?
Every Wednesday I participate in a meme called WWW Wednesday.
This meme is a challenge where you simply share what you’re reading, what you’ve recently finished, and what you hope to read in the near future.
The meme is currently handled by Taking On A World of Words, and anybody can participate.
Simply read the 3 W questions below and answer them should you want to:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

Blurb:
Cassie’s had it. After the last mission, she realizes she’s getting tired of missions. Tired of battles. Tired of being an Animorph. She decides that she just can’t do it anymore. So she quits.
(Sidenote: I really don’t like this blurb. It makes Cassie seem like a weaker character than she is.)
Opinion so far:
I was really beginning to miss my Animorphs again, so I’m really happy that it’s time to read another one. Honestly, I haven’t even started it. I have so much to do before I can that at the earliest I’ll start it tonight, but who knows what’ll happen?
Super excited to continue on!

Blurb:
This Hugo Award-winning graphic novel chronicles the fall from grace of a group of super-heroes plagued by all-too-human failings. Along the way, the concept of the super-hero is dissected as the heroes are stalked by an unknown assassin.
My Opinion:
Man, this one was quite the stunning read! This is the first time I’ve reviewed a graphic novel, and I really enjoyed the dark, violent world of Watchmen, which isn’t surprising given how much I love the movie and series adaptation. Nonetheless, very much worth a read if a dark superhero story sounds up your alley.

Opinion so far:
After I finish my current Animorphs read, I’ll be reading Teri Polen’s Subject A36. I’ve been excited about this one ever since I read the blurb, and of course because it’s by the marvelous Teri Polen. Can’t wait!
Next after that is Heaven Bound, and let me just extend my apologies to the author. I keep getting pushed back on my reading schedule, and it’s slowly driving me nuts. Very excited about this one as well.
After that it’ll be time for another short story. This time around I chose Premium Harmony by Stephen King. People seem to like it, so what the heck? I’ll bite.
That’s a Wrap!
Okay folks, that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.

I just finished Buried in My Past by Eva MacKenzie today. I’m also still working my way through The Waste Lands by Stephen King and Little Women by Louisa May Alcott. I’m going to be starting Subject A36 next.
Oh nice! Never heard of that one by MacKenzie. Good luck with The Waste Lands and Little Women!
Yeah, Teri’s book caught me by surprise. I wasn’t aware that it was time already. Once I finish my Animorphs one, I’ll get right on that one. Hope we love it!
I’m pretty sure it’s her debut novel and it comes out tomorrow I think. I should be finishing The Waste Lands by Sunday.
I don’t like to read books early when I am scheduled for a blog tour review post although waiting until close to the day probably isn’t the best approach lol.
Oh cool!
Yeah me either. I try to allow myself about a week to read a book for a blog tour depending on the length. I think we will be fine. 🙂
Yeah it’s pretty short I should be able to finish it in a day or two.
Fingers crossed!
