WWW Wednesday
Happy Hump Day everyone!
Man, this week is just turning out to be really stressful for me. My mom is having some serious health issues and work is just nuts right now. I really just want it to end.
Fortunately, I have Friday and Monday off, so all I have to do is soldier on today and tomorrow and I’ll be all set for a very long relaxing weekend.
I can’t wait!
Alright, so back to today’s post. Every Wednesday I participate in a meme called WWW Wednesday.
This meme is a challenge where you simply share what you’re reading, what you’ve recently finished, and what you hope to read in the near future.
The meme is currently handled by Taking On A World of Words, and anybody can participate.
Simply read the 3 W questions below and answer them should you want to:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

If genetic engineering could guarantee you and your family perfect health and unparalleled beauty, would you pay top dollar for it? Would you kill for it?
Residents of the Colony would. And do.
Only the Insurgents can stop them.
Seventeen-year-old Asher Solomon is a premier operative with the Insurgents. He and his team have rescued countless hostages, saving them from painful deaths in Colony labs as desirable genetic traits are stripped from their bodies.
He’s also suffered more losses than anyone should have to.
Then Asher gets intel that might give his people the upper hand. The Colony is searching for Subject A36. If the Insurgents determine the subject’s identity first, they might be able to turn the tide of the war.
Asher and his team embark on their riskiest mission ever, and the stakes have never been higher. But even if he survives the physical dangers, the devastating secrets he uncovers might destroy him.
Opinion so far:
Honestly, with everything going on I’ve fallen a bit behind, but I am over halfway through this baby and really enjoying it!
I’m part of the blog tour, so you can expect my review on Friday, Valentine’s day!
Recently Finished:

Cassie’s had it. After the last mission, she realizes she’s getting tired of missions. Tired of battles. Tired of being an Animorph. She decides that she just can’t do it anymore. So she quits.
My Opinion:
I was more disappointed in this book than any of the others so far. There just wasn’t enough action and high stakes for me. Still, I’m super excited to continue forward!

Next on my TBR:
Opinion so far:
I realize that my readings have been a tad bit slow this month so far, but I’m getting close to the end of my scheduled readings, which makes me super happy! Once that happens I’ll be re-evaluating what I want to read the next few months while doing an Animorphs reading week.
Next after Subject A36 is Heaven Bound by Montre Bible. See? No more pushing it down the TBR!
After that is Premium Harmony, a short story by Stephen King. It’s not my typical kinda thing but those seem to be winners for me.
Last but not least is The Power Unleashed with J.E. Nelson. Can’t wait to dig into this one!
That’s a Wrap!
Okay folks, that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.
What does your reading pile look like? Have you read any of the books on my list? Do you have any opinions or feedback on the books I chose? Feel free to share in the comments, and don’t forget to subscribe or follow my bookish journeys!

I’m looking forward to your Valentine’s review of Polen’s book. It’s on my TBR, but I haven’t started it yet.
Aw thanks! Looking forward to sharing my experience! I think you’ll like it
I’m sorry to hear about your mom. I hope it’s nothing to serious. After I finished Subject A36 I went and bought the ebook of her debut novel Sarah which says a lot because I very rarely buy ebooks that are more than .99.
It’s okay. I mean, these things do happen, and I think I’ve done pretty well to keep myself rational and in control despite a few emotional moments.
Oh yeah, Teri is definitely an up and coming author!
I can’t wait to get started on Subject A36. Teri is great! 🍻
Yeah, she’s definitely one of my besties on here and is extremely talented as well!
