Mail, mail, what’s in the mail?

Hello World!

It’s been quite a while since I’ve done a mail post. You know me, I like to make sure there are plenty of great recommendations.

Anyways, a recent Amazon delivery of books prompted this whole thing, and I’m super excited about the books I’m about to share with you!

So what came in the mail?

I’ve been so excited about these books I was really happy when they came in. Even Ajax got in on the action.

Just look at that smolder! He’s so darn handsome!

The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes by Suzanne Collins

I read The Hunger Games trilogy quite a while ago, but when I heard about this coming out I just had to get my hands on it! I may read this one first.

Network Effect by Martha Wells

I love love LOVE Murderbot, and I’ve been stoked about this release since reading through the first one. I can’t wait to see how things turn out for our beloved Murderbot.

A Properly Unhaunted Place by William Alexander

I’ve been hooked on creepy/scary YA and Middle Grade stuff since I unearthed a bunch in a search late last year. Halloween may not be every day, but it doesn’t mean it can’t be!

Kindle Purchases

You didn’t think I was done yet, did you? Ha! Check out the below that I’ve recently purchased on my Kindle to read.

Magic or Die by J.P. Jackson

I’ve had this on my TBR long enough, and after interviewing J.P., I couldn’t help myself!

The Starlight Watchmaker by Lauren James

This has been on my TBR for almost a full year, but I’m still very intrigued so I bit the bullet and decided to give it a go!

Unleashed by Dirk Patton

I lucked out and got this one when it was free on Amazon. I’m not sure just how interested I am yet, but it has really good reviews and plenty of them.

Grim by Jessica Sorensen

I also lucked out with a free download of this one and again, I’m not sure how interested I am, but I’m willing to give it a try. No telling on the when.

That’s a Wrap!

All righty book worms, that’s what’s in the mail for me today. How about you? Get any packages or download any ebooks that you’re excited about?

Tell me all about it in the comments!

Thank you for stopping by, and have a great day!

  1. Murderbot is freakin’ adorable!

I picked up Nicholas Gray’s Graymatter. It’s a short story horror collection. So far it’s good. (I’ve only read one story.) Has a YA vibe I think, but maybe it was just that first story. I’ll have to keep reading and see!

  2. Oh I so want to read the new Hunger Games book. I want be purchasing it anytime soon though because of my stupid book buying ban lol. I’ve gotten a lot of books this month. Most are free ebooks some giveaway wins and some review copies and I also purchased 1 physical book even though I’m on my ban oops.

    • I know right? It’s been so long since I read the trilogy I’m so excited!

Truth be told I only bought it because I got a gift card for my bday.

Oh nice! getting free books really is nice on the wallet and can also be awesome depending on what you got.

I’m curious how my free ones are gonna turn out.

Haha, it’s okay, I’m sure just one won’t kill ya.

      • It’s been a while since I’ve read all of them too. I think I’m going to see if they are in scribd and listen to the audiobooks sometime.

        That’s nice. Happy belated birthday!!

I have a problem with getting free books. I seriously need to stop lol. Pretty much all of the free books I get are romances. Hopefully your free ones will turn out good.

No it won’t especially since the book I got was hard to find with the particular cover I wanted at a reasonable price. I still paid to much for it though but if I would have waited it would have been even harder to come by and probably even more expensive.

      • Yeah, it’s definitely worth another listen. I’m not gonna re-read any of em, but I do have the books on my bookshelf. Temptation.

Thank you! I had a fun day to myself.

Oh no! Well good luck resisting temptation! I’m sure all those authors appreciate you reading their books at the very least. I hope my picks end up well also!

Oh, I’ve been there before. Some variations of cover are just so much better. Like with Animorphs, I won’t buy the new ones. I hate the new covers. Blech!
