WWW Wednesday
Good Morning World!
How the heck are ya? Well I hope! This week is moving along slowly for me, so I’m counting the minutes to the weekend and some R&R. Alright, on to the post!
Every Wednesday I participate in a meme called WWW Wednesday.
This meme is a challenge where you simply share what you’re reading, what you’ve recently finished, and what you hope to read in the near future.
The meme is currently handled by Taking On A World of Words, and anybody can participate.
Simply read the 3 W questions below and answer them should you want to:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

It’s been three years since Rowan and Citra disappeared; since Scythe Goddard came into power; since the Thunderhead closed itself off to everyone but Grayson Tolliver.
In this pulse-pounding conclusion to New York Times bestselling author Neal Shusterman’s Arc of a Scythe trilogy, constitutions are tested and old friends are brought back from the dead.

Opinion so far:
I’m just under halfway through this book (it’s a whopper!), and while I’m not super wowed like I was with the first one, it is still a fun and entertaining read. I just really don’t like Greyson Tolliver all that much still. I’m hoping to finish this by end of week, so stay tuned for my review!

Blurb:
On a dare from her best friends, Heather goes inside the town’s haunted house, where Frank Blackwell killed his wife and then hung himself in the basement. But while in the house, Heather is confronted by a ghost from her past, her mother who died accidentally one year ago. Now, Heather must not only escape from the evil lurking inside the house, but from the demons of her own past.

Opinion so far:
I really didn’t enjoy this one. I found the writing could be greatly improved and felt that the story just wasn’t scary enough for me. Oh well, on to the next one!
Short Story Review: The Basement
Next on my TBR:
Opinion so far:
I’m making some serious good progress on my reads for the month (this is something of a catch-up month), so I’m focusing my next reads on older purchases. My Kindle TBR is looking a lot better, but progress still needs to be made.
First up will be Animorphs #45. I have no idea what it’s about, but I’m hoping things begin to get a bit more dangerous and epic since it’s near the end of the series. I may end up doing a mini-readathon of Animorphs over Thanksgiving weekend to speed things up.
After that is After the Change by Michael J. Moore. The illustrious Iseult Murphy recommended this to me, and it’s been gathering dust in my Kindle for at least several months. Unforgiveable! I must read this book pronto!
Last but not least is Things Unknown by Travis Liebert. I’m a huge fan since reading a few of his works, and I bought this maybe two or three months ago, so I’m excited to give this a go! I haven’t been disappointed by him yet.
That’s a Wrap!
Okay folks, that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.
