WWW Wednesday
Hello There!
I’m back again for my usual WWW Wednesday post.
Every Wednesday I make a point to participate in this meme.
This meme is a challenge where you simply share what you’re reading, what you’ve recently finished, and what you hope to read in the near future.
The meme is currently handled by Taking On A World of Words, and anybody can participate.
Simply read the 3 W questions below and answer them should you want to:
- What are you currently reading?
- What did you recently finish reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?

David, the “sixth Animorph,” is back. When the Animorphs and Ax decided to give another human being the power to morph, it was one of their biggest mistakes. David tried to destroy all of them–and almost succeeded. Rachel and the others thought they’d seen the last of him.
They were wrong.
Rachel knows what a threat David is. He’s cunning and dangerous. Worst of all, he knows their secrets. Now he’s captured Rachel as part of his plan to take over everything. David wants power. Money. But more than anything, he wants revenge.
GoodReads
Opinion so far:
I’m right at the 50% mark on this book, and overall I’m not disappointed. Rachel is clearly experiencing PTSD and David’s back, so it’s a crazy psychological adventure this time around. Stay tuned for my review! I’ll probably finish this tomorrow.
Recently Finished:

Roy owns the only drive-thru funeral home in the state of Maine. With such an unconventional business, Roy’s come to expect the occasional prank – namely students from the nearby medical school leaving cadavers outside his drive-thru window.
But this latest joke isn’t the quite the same. This cadaver appears well-dressed, shows no signs of decomposition, and doesn’t need any support to keep it from flopping over. Even more peculiar? It’s begging to be let in.

Opinion so far:
I absolutely loved this quick little bite of a read. The main character was flawed but intriguing, and the plot was straight to the point, creepy, and entertaining. This is easily one of my favorites of Tammie Painter’s short stories thus far. I highly recommend!
Short Story Review: The Drive-Thru Window
Next on my TBR:
Opinion so far:
Up next on the ole TBR is my buddy read of Renegades by Marissa Meyer with Gigi aka The Beachy Reader. I have very high hopes for this one and it has tons of great reviews, so I’m praying it doesn’t end up disappointing either of us. Please, I need another phenomenal series in my life!
After that is a brief departure into Animorphs again, followed by my read of Domna part one by Tammie Painter. I’m super excited about this one, and I noticed this morning that it’s a nice short read, just over 100 pages. I may have to binge through this series.
Following that, I’ll mainly be concentrating on finishing the Animorphs series for the rest of the month, then regrouping after. I’m somewhat ahead of schedule at the moment, so I hope that trend keeps up.
Wish me luck on my reading journeys, and I wish you the best as well!
That’s a Wrap!

I listened to the audiobook of Renegades – and by the description I should have loved everything about it – but one of the narrators ruined it for me. The voice was piercing, screechy, and I just couldn’t handle it. I probably would have enjoyed it if I’d read the book. Hope you have a better experience.
Oh no! I’m sorry that narrator ruined it for you. I still havent migrated at all to audiobooks so I’ll be doing it the ole fashioned way. Crossing my fingers!
