WWW Wednesday

Hello World!

How are ya doing? Good I hope. Keep on trucking, we’re halfway there!

I honestly don’t have anything of significance to report, so let’s jump right into this post!

Every Wednesday I participate in a meme called WWW Wednesday.

This meme is a challenge where you simply share what you’re reading, what you’ve recently finished, and what you hope to read in the near future.

www

The meme is currently handled by Taking On A World of Words, and anybody can participate.

Simply read the 3 W questions below and answer them should you want to:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading:

Blurb:

In PRELUDES & NOCTURNES, an occultist attempting to capture Death to bargain for eternal life traps her younger brother Dream instead. After his 70 year imprisonment and eventual escape, Dream, also known as Morpheus, goes on a quest for his lost objects of power. On his arduous journey, Morpheus encounters Lucifer, John Constantine, and an all-powerful madman.

Opinion so far:

Okay, so I know what you’re thinking. What happened to The Good House? Well, Gigi and I started it and it didn’t feel enough like a horror book, so we made a quick shift this morning to Gaiman’s Sandman series.

I haven’t quite started this yet, but will dive in later today. Here’s hoping it’s as good as everyone says!

Recently Finished:

Blurb:

Following a shocking death that dredges up memories of their father’s murder, Kinsey and Tyler Locke are thrown into choppy emotional waters, and turn to their new friend, Zack Wells, for support, little suspecting Zack’s dark secret.

Meanwhile, six-year-old Bode Locke tries to puzzle out the secret of the head key, and Uncle Duncan is jarred into the past by a disturbingly familiar face.

Open your mind – the head games are just getting started

Opinion:

Although this second volume wasn’t quite as great as the first one, I still loved it very much!

The characters are still very interesting, there’s plenty of crazy things going on, and Dodge is pure evil! I highly recommend checking out this series, even if you’re not a typical graphic novel reader.

Graphic Novel Review: Locke & Key, Vol. 2: Head Games

Buddy Read & Rant: Locke & Key, Vol. 2: Head Games

Next on my TBR:

Opinion so far:

Okay, so you may be a little disappointed that I don’t have a more diverse offering of next books, but Misty and I have been talking and we both very much want to binge through the Locke & Key series.

I’m hoping to finish this series sometime this month, and any other book in my TBR or new release is going to be completely ignored until I make that goal a reality.

Yay for Taurus stubbornness!

Wish me luck on my reading journey, and I wish you the best as well!

That’s a Wrap!

Okay folks, that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.

What does your reading pile look like? Have you read any of the books on my list? Do you have any opinions or feedback on the books I chose? Feel free to share in the comments, and don’t forget to subscribe or follow my bookish journeys!

Happy Reading Everyone!

    • Oh perfect! Yeah, my library has em all on digital loan so I’ve been doing em that way. The good part is that most people wont rent the ones after the first one so the odds are in our favor. 🙂
