The Review

This series just keeps getting better and better!
It’s Halloween, and Lavender is still experiencing strange paranormal phenomenon at her house from the stratagem box. Her besties Rosie and Ethan convince her to attend the school dance to lift her spirits, but when they do Lavender and her friends get trapped inside the school library. Connecting the dots, they soon suspect something paranormal is at play.
I really loved this one. I’m all for Halloween vibes, and this book definitely took me there. The ambience was great and drove the spooky factor up alongside the paranormal happenings. There was plenty of action, laughs, and chills in each chapter, and I blazed through the pages fast. I just had to know what happened next!
Lavender had some great personal progression in this one, and I liked the growth she had with Ethan and Rosie. Things are really coming together, and they are forming a strong bond that’s really heartwarming.
I thought all the mysterious moving pieces were pulled off really well , and things are left on a nice suspenseful note. I can’t wait to dig into the next one!
If you want some great MG creepy vibes, you can’t go wrong with this series.
That’s A Wrap!
Well that’s it for this book review. I hope you enjoyed it!
