My Interview with The Reading Palette

Hello bookworms!
I’ve got a special post for you today. After doing a recent guest post for another blog The Reading Palette, Amisha asked if I’d like to do an interview with her. Given the great kindness she’s already shown me, how could I say no?
My author interview focuses on the inspiration behind my writing, current projects, and more.
If you’d like to check out my interview, simply click here or go to https://thereadingpalette.com/2025/05/30/meet-horror-author-jonathan-pongratz-insights-and-new-projects/. Don’t forget to follow her blog for exciting bookish content!
Thanks for tuning in!

Loved reading through this and I’m looking forward to reading all the new stuff to come. Dolls are creepy to me too. As for big bodies of water I’m fine swimming in them but someone has to go first because I hate not knowing what I’m going to step on.
Aw, thanks friend! Yeah, porcelain dolls specifically are the worst for me. With the water, one part of it is not knowing what’s in the body of water, another is if it’s shallow water, feeling the texture of the bottom also freaks me out. Basically everything lol.
I actually have a lot of porcelain dolls. We used to get one every year for Christmas when we were kids. Those type of dolls don’t really bother me but there are definitely some creepy looking ones out there. I totally get that about the water.
Aw, that’s sweet! Are any of them antiques? The older the doll, the more creeped out I get lol! Right? If I’m at a beach I’m staying on the sand or just lightly dipping my toes in the water.
Honestly I have no idea. They are currently in storage and have been for years. One of these days I might try to sell them.
Oh okay, gotcha. So you don’t have a creepy room full of them, hooray! I’m sure they’ll be worth a pretty penny should you ever decide to do that.
Oh no and I don’t even have enough to fill up a whole room. When we moved in with my in-laws a lot of our stuff had to go into storage.
Oh okay, phew! I automatically go back to my friend from grade school with the room full of dolls lol. Not everyone is that bad, Jonny! *bonk*
