Book Events are Complete for 2025!
OMG you guys, my book events are finally done for 2025!
This year has been really difficult for me, and that’s putting it mildly. There’s been so much change, from switching out cars, getting a different house with my partner (and repairing it with numerous projects), working full time, and doing all of these book events … Let’s just say it’s easy to get overwhelmed and it has really impacted my writing.
Next year I plan on sticking with bigger events, focusing on the tried and true events that I know I can make a decent profit at. So far that includes Crypticon (August) and Capecon (October/November), but there are at least a few more I want to do as well. I just don’t want to feel like I’m constantly working all the time, because I miss out on how important it is to just be human and have some semblance of a normal life.
Tomorrow my boyfriend and I are hosting my family’s Thanksgiving celebrations, and I’m looking forward to some time with family. I’ve also been working hard at the sequel to The Ruins and am excited to share some more in depth updates soon.
How is your year going? Feel free to tell me all about it in the comments, and have a lovely day!

Enjoy this down time Jonny you definitely deserve it.
Aww, thank you bestie! The bf and I are gonna hit up maybe one store today, but one that shouldn’t have a lot of crazy black Friday stuff. Then we get to recharge for the rest of the day and Saturday and Sunday. It feels glorious!
We had to go out this morning to pick up some things from tractor supply. We didn’t think they’d be busy but we were wrong. Luckily it wasn’t as bad as some stores get.
Well at least it wasn’t too bad, phew! We’re supposed to go to Home Depot for new garage door openers but we’re kind of waiting it out til afternoon so hopefully any foot traffic dies down.
🤞
