My Kindle Died

QOTD: What’s your favorite eReader? Has it ever given you any issues?
I’m sad to report that my Kindle Paperwhite has officially died. I got mine back in the early days of the pandemic. Those days were bliss, but after spending days in forums trying to figure out some loop around, I’ve come to the conclusion that there is no other option but to move on.
Such a bummer, but I’m really glad that I switched over to Kobo Plus and stopped supporting Amazon for the most part. I still have to use Kindle for library ebooks (I hate reading on my phone), but luckily there’s a desktop app that I can use.
Given how sparingly I use my Kindle, I might just start borrowing physical books from the library since I’m trying to read more physical books this year anyways.
Wahhh!

A couple years ago my mom bought me a kindle. I think it’s a refurbished 10th generation kindle. It’s a bit slow and there’s always an ad on it even when it’s off so it runs the battery down but otherwise it’s pretty good. I read a lot on my phone. I would like a kindle with color instead of black and white but idk if that will ever happen.
Oh I love that for you! Glad it’s still kicking and in working order. Yeah, I think they might have a color version of Kindle but I think it’s got a high pricetag if it’s a thing.
