What book’s got your interest this week?
I just started Dead End Tunnel by Nick Roberts, and this is my first read by this author. I’ve heard many good things about his work and so far it’s super nostalgic to the 90s era.
Since I haven’t gotten to the scary bits just yet, the inspo is the cover. I’m a total scaredy cat in real life situations so I would never explore some random dark tunnel, but books as bait might lure me in lol.

Yesterday I started Harvest Season by Brynne Weaver. My buddy read partner didn’t manage to get to yesterday’s chapters so I held him for on picking it up today and finally picked A Conjuring of Light by V.E. Schwab back up after months of it sitting on my currently reading shelf.
Oh V.E. Schwab is never a bad choice! I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve read of their books so far.
I’m be enjoyed some of them and though some were ok. This trilogy is just ok to me.
I think I tried the first book a while back but the wording didn’t grab me in the beginning so I moved on to something else.
