Weekly Progress Update!
Good Morning World!
How has your week been? I hope whatever projects, tasks, or struggles you’re handling right now work out in your favor.
Personally, my week has been relatively light. Friday was a snow day here in Missouri, and I have MLK day off on Monday, so I’ve been enjoying a lot of time to myself, reading, writing, and *gasp* video games.
Later on today I’m even having friends over for a game night after the football game (don’t ask me which one, it’s the big one that everyone watches. You know, sportsball!), so I’m excited for time with friends.
Anywho, let’s get into the things that happened this week.
Books
This week I read Artificial Condition by Martha Wells, Four Horsemen, At Their Leisure by Richard Parks, Animorphs #18.5 In the Time of Dinosaurs by KA Applegate, and even started reading The Die of Death by Kenneth Andersen.
Out of the ones I read, this week’s favorite is probably Animorphs. Four Horsemen felt a bit lackluster to me in the end, and Artificial Condition wasn’t quite what I was hoping for, though I still rated it pretty high.
I’m not too far in The Die of Death, but it’s SUPER easy to read and it’s really entertaining. I’m in the blog book tour for the 27th, so if I finish before then, you guys will just have to wait a bit. Sorry!
Feel free to check out this week’s book reviews below. Looking forward to more great reads!

TV/Movies
This week’s watches centered on the horror genre, my favorite! I ended up watching Train to Busan and It Part Two.
Talk about memorable films!
Train to Busan was a masterpiece if you ask me. I don’t know why it’s been so long since I watched a foreign film, but I’m definitely going to start watching them more frequently thanks to gems like this baby.
It Part Two was pretty great too. Very scary. I mean, what else would you expect with Pennywise the clown?
My Writing
Writing went really well this week!
I’m sticking to that whole “write a little every day” thing, and it’s been about two weeks so I’m really getting used to it and feeling that drive to set aside some time each day for writing.
I did have some plotting complications with my Chapter 26, but I chiseled away at it until I was happy and even got started on Chapter 27, the second to last chapter in my act II of the Reaper sequel. Very excited!
In the meantime, feel free to check out what my first Reaper novella is all about. It’s Halloween-themed, spooky, and is definitely guaranteed to send some chills down your spine!
That’s a Wrap!
All right, so that was it for my week. How did yours go? Did you do well on your writing and reading projects? Anything interesting you’d like to share?
Do you have any great recommendations in TV, movies, or books? Feel free to share in the comments!
Thanks for stopping by everyone, and Happy Sunday!

I’ve been watching La Mante on Netflix. It’s a French serial killer cop show. Very good!
Enjoy the game!
Oh nice! Someone told me to watch Ares on Netflix. It seems pretty promising.
Thanks, I will!
I finished 3 books this week which is what a typical week is like for me so I am glad to be back to that. There’s a post up on my blog. I will be starting The Die of Death today and I’m on the blog tour for the 31st.
Oh nice, that’s some great progress on reading. I started Die of Death yesterday and am not far but it’s pretty good! Too soon to form an opinion
I had planned on starting it yesterday but once I finished The Drawing of the Three I didn’t feel like jumping straight into another book.
I hear ya there. I try to wait a day before starting another book
Sometimes I do sometimes I don’t it just depends on my mood.
Yeah, the level of want to read can make me start a book right after the last, it just depends
