WWW Wednesday

Good Morning!

How are you, fellow readers and writers? Doing well I hope.

This week is kind of speeding along for me, and I’m super glad it’s not dragging like last week did. So far, I’ve been working less overtime by quite a bit, so the tension on me is lessening. Yay!

Alright, back to the meat and potatoes of this post.

Every Wednesday I participate in a meme called WWW Wednesday.

This meme is a challenge where you simply share what you’re reading, what you’ve recently finished, and what you hope to read in the near future.

www

The meme is currently handled by Taking On A World of Words, and anybody can participate.

Simply read the 3 W questions below and answer them should you want to:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Murderbot wasn’t programmed to care. So, its decision to help the only human who ever showed it respect must be a system glitch, right?

Having traveled the width of the galaxy to unearth details of its own murderous transgressions, as well as those of the GrayCris Corporation, Murderbot is heading home to help Dr. Mensah—its former owner (protector? friend?)—submit evidence that could prevent GrayCris from destroying more colonists in its never-ending quest for profit.

But who’s going to believe a SecUnit gone rogue?

And what will become of it when it’s caught?

Opinion so far:

I’m almost three quarters through this fourth installment in the Murderbot series, and I’m having a lot of fun! I love the plot so far and all the action too. I may just bite the bullet and blaze through the rest of it today so I can focus on my next buddy read with Iseult.

Stay tuned!

Montré Bible returns with the long-awaited, “Sons of Heaven”; the fifth installment of the Heaven Sent Series. Andrew Turner is a nineteen-year-old with supernatural powers and is bringing in the New Year with a new adventure he never expected. A mysterious demon hunter named Haadiyah reveals that she is his half-sister and needs his help to find Valerie Larue, a rogue demon hunter that’s killing innocents in the city. Andrew and his twin brother take on the task to help only to discover their role in the bigger picture of the world and how their fallen angel-grandfather, Donyel, is involved. Andrew discovers new knowledge and comes face-to-face with an elder race of angelic beings called Anunakim. As he and his family delve deeper into the supernatural world that coexists parallel to ours, Andrew has to decide whether he will move forward and sacrifice everything he loves to take his rightful place as a Son of Heaven.

My Opinion:

This was an entertaining read, and though I did have some issues with plot and pacing, it was a fun journey! Looking forward to the sixth installment, whenever that may be.

Next on my TBR:

Opinion so far:

Next up on my TBR is Shutter (both the prequel short story and Shutter itself). This buddy read has been delayed by the mail, so I’m super ready to dive in! Come on, Amazon!

After that, I’ll continue on with another Animorphs read. I’m always excited about more animal-morphing adventures.

Lastly but certainly not least, I’ll be diverting from my main TBR to give Voltage a quick read. This is one of the stories I bought recently on my Kindle, and I always love a superhero story. Crossing my fingers this one is good!

That’s a Wrap!

Okay folks, that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.
