Weekly Progress Update!
Happy Sunday Everybody!
How has this week been treating ya? Well I hope!
This week was huge for me. I moved this weekend!
I hired movers, which helped the whole process go by that much smoother, and I’ve already got most things put away in general. I couldn’t be happier with my new apartment, and I’m feeling really positive about being in a place on my own for the first time in a decade.
That’s pretty much it on a personal level, so let’s get into the other great stuff that happened this week!
Books
Due to my move, I was only able to read one book this week.
Shutter was magnificent, action-packed, and scary as hell! I was blown away by the experience and highly recommend to anyone who doesn’t shy away from chills and thrills.
Shutter Review
Up next on my TBR is another Animorphs adventure.
I’m stoked to get this one started at some point today and will probably blaze through. After this I will move on to my buddy read with Misty’s Book Space.
TV/Movies
This week I also reviewed a tv series called NOS4A2 on Shudder.
Much like Shutter did, this one seriously shocked me in the best way possible. Great characters, a riveting plot, and plenty of action made this one an easy win in my book. Highly recommend.

My Writing
As far as writing goes, I didn’t get through what all I’d hoped to.
In reading Shutter, I was so inspired by the writing level and how wonderful the flow was that I took a deeper look at my Chapter 12 and decided I wasn’t happy with just okay, so I dove a bit deeper into it.
It’s really making a difference, and I’m glad I’m doing this. Sure, it’s taking longer, but Rome wasn’t built in a day, right?
This coming week I plan on truly getting through Chapter 12 and making it something I can be proud of before moving on.
While you wait with baited breath, why not check out where Reaper all began?
My debut novella Reaper has abundant chills and thrills, and is set around the greatest holiday of all, Halloween! What’s not to love about that?
Reaper will be on sale from 5/20/20 through 5/27/20, so take advantage while you can!
That’s a Wrap!
All right, so that was it for my week. How did yours go? Did you do well on your writing and reading projects? Anything interesting you’d like to share?
Do you have any great recommendations in TV, movies, or books? Feel free to share in the comments!
Thanks for stopping by everyone, and Happy Sunday!

Wow, what an eventful week! Some of the cool stuff in Shutter did make me think of Reaper when I was reading it. Im slowly recovering from Little Pup’s near death experience, and got some reading done this week.
Thanks friend! I’m getting to the point where I can start my routine back up soon (tomorrow most likely).
Aww, thanks! I also thought of Reaper here and there while reading it.
Totally understandable. We need time when these things happen. Wishing you the best!
That’s great. It’s so cool you’re finally in your new place.
Yeah, I have the best feeling about this place!
Congratulations on your move…. I read some of the Animorphs when I was a kid and it was a show to I believe 🤔 Anyways it was an intriguing concept as a kid, and still is, morphing into an animal…yeah the idea blew me away back then lol. Just with the possibilities. I’ve always appreciated ideas that Made you think outside of the box and spark that imagination 😁.
Thanks, it’s been a journey but this was actually the quickest move I’ve ever had.
Yeah, I did too. Animorphs got me through the 90’s as a kid. The show wasn’t all that great, but was still an extension of the series that I loved when I was younger.
Yeah, it’s such a creative idea and all the scifi inherent just can’t be beat, even to today’s standards. Gotta love it
Congratulations on the move! I’m reading Whiteout by Macauley. It’s a creature feature about the Yeti. pretty good so far.
Thank you! I’m so happy right now.
Ooo the fabled yeti! I’m gonna check that out. Sounds like fun.
