Celebrating Milestones: Second Act Complete!

Happy Friday Everyone,

I’m happy to stop by to announce a small writing milestone for myself.

Last night I finished my second act of the Reaper sequel!

First and foremost, I want to thank all the wonderful fellow bloggers and authors on WordPress and all other social media that have inspired me to keep writing. Finishing a book is no easy feat, and you’ve helped carry me along with your own inspirations.

The second act of a novel has always been the hardest part of writing for me, and it’s no different this time around. It took me a whopping eight months to finish this part of my book, but I’m super happy that I took my time to figure everything out.

I’ve learned a lot of things along the way, specifically to not discount how much work I can actually get done when I set my mind and time to it. I will continue to push myself forward, writing more frequently and for longer periods of time. That’s honestly how books get written.

In the next couple weeks leading up to my writer’s retreat to Hermann, I’ll be plotting out the last few chapters of my book (I’m thinking two and an epilogue) and god willing, start writing it.

In the meantime, feel free to check out my first novel Reaper.

It has the right amount of chills and thrills to get you ready for the craziness that will be book two!

Thanks so much for stopping by everyone, but don’t let this post stop with me. Tell me, what recent milestone have you achieved? Let’s lift each other up!

Have a great day everyone!

    • Totally! I’m a bit ahead of schedule, so I’m hopeful I’ll be super ready for the last brief act if not already started by then. I love it when that momentum really hits.

    • Thanks! Yeah, I already had a separate doc for third act, and I started populating more stuff this morning. No rest for the wicked right? πŸ˜‰
