WWW Wednesday

Hi Blogging World,

How is your week treating you? Good I hope!

Mine has been extremely chaotic with my company’s year end coming to an end this week. I’m honestly surprised I’ve been able to post at all, but I am clinging on to this part of my life like a life raft.

Here’s hoping if you are having a tough time that you get some quality time by yourself or with loved ones soon.

Anywho, back to the post!

Every Wednesday I participate in a meme called WWW Wednesday.

This meme is a challenge where you simply share what you’re reading, what you’ve recently finished, and what you hope to read in the near future.

www

The meme is currently handled by Taking On A World of Words, and anybody can participate.

Simply read the 3 W questions below and answer them should you want to:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Montré Bible returns with the long-awaited, “Sons of Heaven”; the fifth installment of the Heaven Sent Series. Andrew Turner is a nineteen-year-old with supernatural powers and is bringing in the New Year with a new adventure he never expected. A mysterious demon hunter named Haadiyah reveals that she is his half-sister and needs his help to find Valerie Larue, a rogue demon hunter that’s killing innocents in the city.

Andrew and his twin brother take on the task to help only to discover their role in the bigger picture of the world and how their fallen angel-grandfather, Donyel, is involved. Andrew discovers new knowledge and comes face-to-face with an elder race of angelic beings called Anunakim. As he and his family delve deeper into the supernatural world that coexists parallel to ours, Andrew has to decide whether he will move forward and sacrifice everything he loves to take his rightful place as a Son of Heaven.

Opinion so far:

I’m only about a third of the way through this one, but I’m really enjoying it thus far. The plot is definitely going in a direction I didn’t see coming. Stay tuned!

The Animorphs are given the power to pursue eighteen-year-old Henry– a human Controller who has discovered Elfangor’s Time Matrix–through time, but one Animorph must pay for this power with his life.

My Opinion:

This book was really great all around. The non-stop action, the great scifi elements (especially the alternate timelines), the pivotal moments for each character. I really can’t recommend this enough!

Opinion so far:

I’m switching up the order of things just a tad for the next few reads.

First and foremost, I’ll be reading Exit Strategy, the fourth book in the Murderbot series by Martha Wells. The fifth book comes out in May, so I really need to get a move on with this read!

Once I’m through with that, I’ll be reading the Shutter series, which consists of a short story prequel called Trigger and then Shutter itself. Both of these will be a buddy read with Iseult Murphy, so I can’t wait to get started!

The only drawback with Shutter is that I’m still waiting on it to arrive in the mail despite ordering it two weeks ago. LAME!

Still, I’m super excited about my reads coming up and can’t wait to dig in!

That’s a Wrap!

Okay folks, that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.
