WWW Wednesday

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

With the holiday, this week is already halfway over. Yay!

I’m looking forward to this weekend with some game nights with friends, both digital and in person. What’s life without friends, yeah? Anywho, back to the post!

Every Wednesday I participate in a meme called WWW Wednesday.

This meme is a challenge where you simply share what you’re reading, what you’ve recently finished, and what you hope to read in the near future.

www

The meme is currently handled by Taking On A World of Words, and anybody can participate.

Simply read the 3 W questions below and answer them should you want to:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you’ll read next?

Currently Reading:

Blurb:

Nestled between counties Limerick and Cork in Southern Ireland, something evil lurks in the place of High Death.
When Vicky’s boss offers her a free vacation in a self-catering cottage over Halloween break, she jumps at the chance to spend quality time with her twin sister, Irene, and Irene’s miniature schnauzer, Ronnie.
The village of Basard may boast Ireland’s longest running Halloween celebration, and one of the country’s best preserved standing stone circles, but Vicky finds the place rather dead. What’s more, she can’t sleep for the nightly roars of a distant crowd.
Will the twins survive this Halloween vacation to wake the dead, when their 7 days in paradise turns into 7 Days in Hell?

GoodReads

Opinion so far:

I’m just under three quarters of the way through with this read, and it’s a lot of fun! Stay tuned for my review hopefully tomorrow or Friday!

Recently Finished:

Blurb:

The Yeerks plan to use the Helmacron ship they have repaired to capture the Andalites and track down Elfangor’s blue cube–the cube that gives Cassie, and the other animorphs the ability to morph.

GoodReads

Opinion so far:

This installation of Animorphs was a real home run. Cassie’s POV was executed masterfully, and the high stakes action throughout was great too.

Definitely recommend this read if you love Animorphs!

Book Review: Animorphs #39, The Hidden

Next on my TBR:

Opinion so far:

Next up on my TBR is a buddy read of Until Summer Comes Around with Iseult Murphy. I’m super excited about this read because it has a vampire theme. Woohoo!

After that, I’ll be reading a small collection of short stories by A.F. Stewart, who I interviewed recently (click here for that if you’re curious). Who doesn’t love twists on mythological tales? I may do some back to back short story reads this time and include some new ones from Tammie Painter that I’m really impatient to get to.

Last but not least is more Animorphs! Based on the blurb, this one sounds great. Another non-infected Andalite on Earth, whaaaaa? Here’s hoping they keep the momentum going!

That’s a Wrap!

Okay folks, that’s my WWW Wednesday for this week.

What does your reading pile look like? Have you read any of the books on my list? Do you have any opinions or feedback on the books I chose? Feel free to share in the comments, and don’t forget to subscribe or follow my bookish journeys!
