Weekly Progress Update!
Hi Everyone,
Mother’s Day is a very special holiday to me, so this post got delayed a bit. So what’s my life been like in the past week? A boat load of crazy for sure, but I wouldn’t change a thing about it.
On the personal side, I’m still moving within the next week and have a birthday on Saturday, so I’m really excited about those two items coming up!
On the writing side, I continued writing the sequel to Reaper, and things are going really well. I managed to get through the first three chapters in the past month, and I’m at about 9,000 words. I started chapter four yesterday and got to a healthy start, so I’m very optimistic. I have about three to five more chapters plotted out, then I’ll get to work on plotting out the second act of the book. I’m definitely hoping for a full-fledged novel, but it’s still too soon to tell.
On the reading side, I finished two books this week, Fried Green Tomatoes and Animorphs #6: The Capture.
If you like to see my reviews feel free to check out my GoodReads here or my original blog posts here and here.
Lastly, the blog side of things. It’s been just two short weeks of full blog activity for me, and I’m extremely grateful to the WordPress community for being so supportive and uplifting. There are still a lot of changes I want to make to my blog, mainly in appearance. I really need to come up with a cool blog name that doesn’t sound cheesy or corny. I also keep getting some really good segment ideas, specifically author interviews as well as other things I’ll reveal more about later.
That being said, things are starting to really come together for me, and I’m super excited to continue this journey. How has your week been? Feel free to share in the comments, I’d love to hear all about it!
Had a great week and especially a Mother’s Day.
