Weekly Progress Update!

Good Morning Everyone,

How was your week and weekend?

Mine was pretty good! I spent some time with friends, hung out, and got to celebrate my debt-freeness! I even went on a date 🙂

Things at work are still a little chaotic for me, so I’ve decided to just focus on my mental health a little more going forward. That may include not posting quite as much on here, but I still have a bunch of great things to share with you for the Halloween season!

Books

On the bookish side of things, I finished two books this week. Yay! They were Aurora Rising and Animorphs #11, The Forgotten.

I really enjoyed both of these immensely and recommend either if you’re in the mood for some YA sci-fi.

TV/Movies

On the watching side of things, I finished the Dark Crystal series on Netflix.

This show was really refreshing to watch, and it was nice to see Henson’s original vision fully executed. If you are a fan of Henson and you love fantasy, this is for you!

My Writing

On the writing side of things, I continued writing my second chapter of the second act of my Reaper sequel, but honestly, since Thursday at work I haven’t taken a lot of time to look at it.

I’m going to jump back into things tomorrow and set aside some serious writing time, mainly because I have twelve more chapters to write for the second act alone.

Festival of Frights

Starting tomorrow, Festival of Frights will be here, so definitely stop by and see what’s happening!

That’s a Wrap!

All right, so that was it for my week. How did yours go? Did you do well on your writing and reading projects? Anything interesting you’d like to share?

Do you have any great recommendations in TV, movies, or books? Feel free to share in the comments!

Thanks for stopping by everyone, and Happy Sunday!
